HERONS & WATER BIRDS
The Niagara Area is a prime location for spotting and photographing herons and other waterfowl. These elegant birds thrive in the region’s diverse ecosystems, from the Niagara River and Lake Ontario to surrounding wetlands and marshes. The rich mix of shallow waters, reeds, and lush vegetation offers ideal feeding and nesting grounds for herons, ducks, geese, and swans. We were drawn to the serene beauty of these birds as they gracefully navigate their natural habitats, making the area a perfect spot to capture the stunning wildlife and vibrant ecosystems of southern Ontario.
